Scope of the
Business Board
of Advisors (according
to NHCSL By-Laws
Article VIII)
The NHCSL
Business Board
of Advisors (hereinafter
referred to as
the Board) is
comprised of
members
representing the
business
community. The
Board will
provide advice
and assistance
to the NHCSL
Executive
Committee and to
the NHCSL. The
Board will
further assist
in the
development of
and counsel on
relevant policy
issues,
administrative
support,
conference
planning support
and development,
fundraising
outreach and
support
opportunities as
well as other
issues and
projects of
importance to
the NHCSL.
Full Business
Member – Annual
Dues: $25,000
Each full
Business Board
of Advisors
representative
has one vote and
the right to
seek the Chair,
Vice Chair, Vice-President
for Corporate
Policy, or
Secretary
positions of the
BBA, as long as
he/she is a
member in “good
standing” prior
to being
nominated for
the position.
All Full
Business
Contributing
Members will
benefit from
their membership
with NHCSL as
follows:

Representation
on the
Executive
Committee of
the NHCSL
that will
provide a
direct
platform for
communications
and
visibility
with the
leadership
of the
Caucus.

Working with
elected
officials,
organizations
and members
in the
formulation
of policy
initiatives,
and public
and private
sector
partnerships.
-
Complimentary
registrations
to attend
NHCSL’s
conferences
and meetings
and showcase
an exhibit
table at no
cost (where
applicable).

Receive all
newsletters and
publications
produced by
NHCSL or related
to NHCSL
programs and
initiatives.
-
Company name and
logo on all
NHCSL marketing
materials
including a
hyperlink on the
website
-
Attendance at
relevant
training
seminars and
other
educational
opportunities.
Associate
Business Member –
Annual Dues: $15,000
Associate Members
shall have the same
benefits and rights
as do Full Members
and may participate
in NHCSL discussions
and functions.
However, Associate
Members are not
permitted to run,
nominate or vote for
the BBA leadership
positions (chair,
vice-chair, vice-president
for corporate policy,
vice-president for
membership, and
secretary) or
otherwise
participate on the
Business Board of
Advisors.
Business
Contributing Member
– Annual Dues:
$5,000-$10,000
Business
Contributing Members
will receive the
NHCSL newsletter and
other publications,
as well as a
discount to attend
NHCSL’s annual
conference or summit.
Business
Contributing Members
are not permitted to
run, nominate or
vote for the BBA
leadership positions
(chair, vice-chair,
vice-president for
corporate policy,
vice-president for
membership, and
secretary) or
otherwise
participate on the
Business Board of
Advisors |
